I was planning to do some much needed yard work after a very long and cold winter. The grass between neighboring fences were too tall. Every weed known to man had taken up to my fertile yard's soil.
In May of 2001 I was working for a major computer corporation when I got the notice that the corporation I worked for was going to be doing some layoffs to prepare for the eventual merger with another computer corporation. I was assured by my boss at the time that there was no way, I'd be included in that layoff.
As a coach, I see many people who say that they want a certain thing but then behave in a manner that absolutely WON'T get them the results they say they desperately want. There are many reasons for this but one of them is their limiting beliefs. Limiting beliefs filter our experience of reality and thus affect the decisions we make, the actions we take and the eventual results. You can change your limiting beliefs by using the four 'D's: Dedication, Determination, Desire and Discipline.
